How to Use AquaSpherePRO (50,000 Gallons)
For small ponds or backyard water features, using AquaSpherePRO is easy:
Remove from packaging
Gently toss into the pond
Let it sink and activate
Repeat every 30 days
Tip: This size is ideal for decorative ponds, koi setups, and small self-contained bodies of water.
✔ Use in self-contained ponds, lakes, and retention areas.
✔ Keep spheres dry until you’re ready to apply.
✖ Do not use alongside algaecides or chemical treatments.
✔ Dose properly based on your pond size.
✔ Use only when water temperatures are between 45°F and 110°F.
The AquaSphere®PRO will treat your pond regardless of its construction (liner, concrete, natural bottom).
If your pond has a concrete or liner base without a sludge layer, the sphere may not biodegrade fully. You can:
Leave it in the pond, or remove it after 30 days and dispose of it with regular trash.
Microbial treatments can reduce oxygen levels as they break down organic matter. This is typically safe—but in some conditions, it can pose a risk to fish:
Has little or no aeration
Contains large amounts of organic matter
Is heavily stocked with fish
Experiences stagnant water conditions
Recommendation: Test your pond’s oxygen levels and ensure aeration is present before treating.
Microbials require oxygen to function effectively (bioremediation).
During treatment, they may temporarily lower oxygen levels.
Healthy Ponds microbial products are natural and fish-safe—if sufficient oxygen is present.
Aeration is highly recommended, especially in ponds with high fish populations.
Low oxygen = potential fish loss.
High heat reduces oxygen levels.
More fish = less available oxygen.
Organic buildup (like leaves, algae, waste) also consumes oxygen.
Shallow ponds hold less oxygen than deeper ones.
