As we head into autumn, this can only mean one thing – It’s time for our annual Fall Pond Contest! We know that you’ve been working hard on pond care all summer to maintain your beautiful clean pond, and now we want to see the fruits of your labor.
How To Enter Our Fall Pond Contest
Entering our fall pond contest is easy, just take a picture of your beautiful pond and send the picture to marketing@bioverse.com. All entries must be submitted by October 1, 2021.
Fall Pond Contest Prizes
Two winners will be randomly drawn, and each will receive:

For those unfamiliar with our all-natural products, here’s a quick look at these three products, and how they can help you maintain a healthy, clean pond. The natural products make pond maintenance a breeze, and all three products are veterinarian-approved and safe for fish, wildlife, livestock, pets and people.
AquaSpherePRO®
The AquaSpherePRO® is a biodegradable sphere filled with beneficial bacteria for ponds. These beneficial bacteria consume the excess nutrients in your pond that can cause a rapid accumulation of floating green organic matter. You simply toss enough spheres into your pond to accommodate the number of gallons of water in the pond, and the spheres begin releasing their beneficial bacteria.
Each sphere releases beneficial bacteria for 30 days at which point you simply add more spheres for easy, monthly pond maintenance. We recommend that you toss the spheres into a different area of your pond each month, as this will ensure that our beneficial bacteria reach every part of your pond, although using pond aeration also will help distribute the bacteria and keep water temperatures lower, which is especially important on those hot summer days.
Natural Blast®
While using AquaSpherePRO® is an excellent and easy way to prevent many common pond issues, sometimes our ponds need a bit of extra help. For instance, a large rain event can upset the balance of your pond water and runoff from your yard or farm can introduce excessive amounts of nitrogen and phosphorus into your pond, which can cause oxygen levels to drop and create conditions ideal for the rapid growth of floating organic matter. A sudden increase in temperature also can cause oxygen levels in your pond to drop, resulting in an excess of nutrients.
When these events occur, we recommend supplementing AquaSpherePRO® with our natural pond product Natural Blast®. This product also contains beneficial bacteria for ponds and these bacteria will consume the excess nutrients in your pond. In addition to using Natural Blast® when temperatures spike or after a large rain event, it can be wise to add this product to your pond at the beginning of your warm season or any time you start to see small amounts of floating green organic matter in your pond.
Pond Dye
If you love a pond that sparkles, pond dye can be a great additive for your water. Pond dye also can help keep water temperatures lower. If you do have any water clarity or quality issues, you will need to resolve those before adding pond dye. Once your pond’s desired clarity has been achieved from the use of AquaSpherePRO® and Natural Blast®, add the pond dye and within about 24 hours, you should notice an improvement in the water’s color.
Our pond dye is made from certifiable food-grade quality dyes and our pond colorants are veterinarian-approved and safe for fish, plants, pets and people. We do recommend that you wear gloves and old clothing as the dye can stain, and pond dye disperses best when applied upwind. You can add pond dye every 30 days, or as needed to retain the desired color.
